Among Us: Polus Map Tasks Guide

Polus (also known as the Polus Outpost) is the third map in Among Us, which is set on the planet Polus as a planetary base.

Man the expedition to the research base on Polus. A planet far away from any would-be Impostors.

Features

• A spacious planet base larger than either previous map.
• 12 new tasks!
• A unique type of security system!
• New door mechanics!
• A bathroom! (out of order)

1) Dropship

The Dropship is the main spawn point for players when they start the match, which is practically the lobby of a match before starting it, similar to The Skeld’s ship. The place is empty, with no boxes or anything like that, just a door that possibly leads to the pilot. Next to the engines, there are two gas tanks.

2) Electrical

Electrical is an upside-down L-shaped room at the top-left corner of the map. It has an exterior section that contains the actual electrical equipment. Under that is the vent. It has a door at the top-right of it that leads outside, a door at the bottom of it that leads to O2, and a doorway at the top-left that leads to Security.

3) Exterior

The right exit of the Office, with a lava pit, several pilasters of climatic modules, among other things. Lava is the new way for The Impostor to be kicked out of the place and thrown into the lava pit.

4) Office

The Office is the main spawn point for players after a discussion, where it is glued to the Administration and contains several things like a gallon of water, an IQ, etc. A vent is located next to the left entrance of the Office.

• Fix Wiring
• Replace Water Jug

5) O2

O2 is a small room located on the leftmost side of the map, near Security. Inside are two tasks, a vent and a tree. One of the tasks is to Monitor the Tree, and the other being Upload Data. There is a window on the right-hand side of the room; however, it is not transparent.

• Fill Canisters

6) Admin

Admin is a small room located near the Office’s Discussion Table and near a Decontamination Elevator. At Admin, the table to summon the ability is seen, and on a screen is the DvD logo.

7) Boiler Room

The Boiler Room is a room encompassed in O2. It has many wires at the walls and a water jug used to complete the Replace Water Jug Task that can be seen on the left. 2 Waterways, going into a water pool, are used to complete the Open Waterway Task.

8) Communications

Communication is located near Weapons. It is a small room with a small table and a big screen to Upload Data, and a WiFi Panel at the left to Reboot Wifi when having the Task.

9) Decontamination

Min and at the Laboratory. It is an elevator which functions just like its Mira HQ Counterpart. The doors open and lead into the Specimen Room.

10) Laboratory

The Laboratory on Polus is a massive room encompassing several smaller rooms. In its centre is the main laboratory room, which features several tasks. Right below are bathrooms, which have a vent inside one of the stalls, leading directly outside and indirectly into the office. On the left are both the weather station and the laser drill pod. Each features several tasks connected to a hallway right below them, which is the left entrance to the labs. The entrance and the drill pod have a camera right outside. On the right, there is a small Medbay featuring a scanner. Right below is the upper decontamination room (its entrance facing the bathrooms), which leads to the Specimen Room.

11) MedBay

MedBay is a medium-sized room that is only mentioned in tasks. Otherwise, it’s encompassed by the Laboratory. It contains a scanner and hospital beds. The beds look like they have a table next to them. It also has two tasks in it.

12) Nodes

Nodes consist of dark blue cones on metal cylinders, surrounded by turquoise circles. There are a total of 6 weather nodes scattered on the map. Most of the nodes are located close to openings, giving Impostors a good excuse to be close to openings.

13) Security

The Security room is a tiny room on the upper left side of the map. It has a computer screen that allows you to access cameras.

14) Specimen Room

The Specimen Room is located near the bottom right of the map. To access it, you have to pass through one of the small Decontamination rooms in either Admin or the Laboratory, then walk through a long empty hallway. The room features windows that let you see the exterior from inside.

15) Storage

Storage is a small, utterly isolated room with only a gallon of fuel and a few boxes, along with a hole, which is connected to the holes in the Office and the one near Communications. There is a window which can be viewed both inside and outside storage located at the bottom of the structure.

16) Weapons

It is a small room with two tasks and no vent in it. It also has clear asteroids, where it is located in a monitor with a green screen and outside it, has a weapon which will shoot when doing the Clear Asteroids task.
